About the Role
The Blockchain Developer role at IntellectEU involves working with Haskell or Scala and developing secure, scalable applications using the Canton DLT platform. The position includes building tailored solutions for financial services by combining technical skills with industry insight.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement smart contracts
- Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a collaborative development culture
Requiremed Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, preferably in Scala or Haskell
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies, particularly in financial contexts
- Experience with APIs, databases, REST, GRPC, PKI, and message queues
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English proficiency
Preffered Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with DAML or similar smart contract languages
- Familiarity with Canton networks and EVM-based blockchain protocols
- Experience with functional programming
- Interest in problem-solving and emerging technologies
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Team-oriented mindset with self-motivation and time management abilities
- Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments
