Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the electrical construction jobsite including labor, materials, and customer relations.
  • Oversee and direct employees in their day-to-day work to ensure tasks are completed effectively and project goals are met.
  • Manage all aspects of the jobsite including scheduling and laying out the work on a daily basis.
  • Facilitate the development of work packages and daily work plans.
  • Plan and develop crew sizes, equipment requirements, and task sequences. Keep daily log of job site records, employee tasks, employee attendance records, project milestones and other tasks.
  • Complete accurate and detailed daily logs, observations and documented weekly safety inspections. Significant focus is required to ensure delays are documented and project impacts are captured in the daily report.
  • Inspect quality of work for compliance with plans, submittals, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Review project submittals and specifications.
  • Check and verify dimensions within the design drawings, and as related to shop drawings.

Qualifications

  • Maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Maintain OSHA 30‑hour course current within the past three years.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education & Years of Experience

Superintendent II – High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of applicable construction experience with at least 3 years as a Superintendent.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position requires ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10–50 pounds. Requires good hand‑eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
