Travel Safety Manager – Construction

A growing construction company is seeking an experienced Travel Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety procedures on an active construction project in Haskell, Texas. This position is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who is comfortable traveling, working long hours, and maintaining a strong safety culture in the field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce all OSHA and company safety standards on-site
- Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Ensure employees and subcontractors follow all PPE and site safety requirements
- Assist with safety training and onboarding for new workers
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately
- Work closely with project managers and field supervisors to maintain a safe jobsite
Qualifications
- Previous construction safety management experience required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- OSHA 30 required; additional certifications are a plus
- Ability to travel and stay on-site during project duration
- Bilingual strongly preferred (Spanish/English)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in industrial or commercial construction environments preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$35 hourly depending on experience
